Jamie is an ex-professional squash player and was formerly ranked in the world top 20. He was also the Canadian National Champion in 1986. Jamie is an Asian certified level one and two instructor as well as a Squash Canada certified development coach (level three). He is a former Malaysian National Coach and has coached the Malaysian team at the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and World Team Championships. Jamie has worked with top players such as Ong Beng Hee and World #1 Nicol David. He also worked as the Performance Director for Squash Canada for six years.

Former club owner Jake Doering has been a consultant fixture for decades here at Elora Racquets and Fitness. To say he knows his way around a racquet is a true understatement. A master of the soft touch and creative shots, he has used his craftiness to maintain the highest level of play and an even higher level of instruction. Jake has literally thousands of hours of teaching experience and has coached some of Canada's top squash players including two U19 National Champions.
