WHAT'S COMING UP?

 

SPRING JUNIOR SQUASH PROGRAM

The spring session will run over 6 weeks. Our two weekly sessions will be scheduled as follows:

Tuesday = 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm (Supervised practice session)

Thursday = 5:30 pm - 6:30pm

We will also be running a Junior League which will take place at 6:30pm on Thursdays for those that are interested (cost to join is free!)

$60 + HST

$75 + HST

SPRING LEAGUES

THURSDAY TEAM LEAGUE

This is a 6 week league running from April 26th - May 31st with matches starting at 6:45pm. Balls, snacks and league schedule provided. Cost is $20. Sign up now at the club!

SUNDAY HOUSE LEAGUE

This is a 6 week free, drop in league running from April 22nd - May 27th. Sign up now at the club!

SQUASH AND FITNESS

Ever wonder how many steps you take in a squash game? Or, how many calories you burn? 

Squash is an anaerobic sport and the number of steps covered on a squash court does not accurately reflect the effort and energy required by this activity.

According to several online sources, playing squash for 40 minutes is equivalent to walking 6,000-8,000 steps! You can burn between 500 - 700 calories during a 40 minute match.
